Alabama-West Florida Conference
United Methodist Church
Trinity United Methodist Church was formed
during the Mobile District Rally on Sunday,
January 16, 1983, at Saraland United
Methodist Church.

On January 23, 1983, the church began
meeting in different homes of the members.
Trinity opened for public worship on April 17,
1983, in the Knight's of Columbus Hall off
Howell's Ferry Road.

We broke ground on July 31, 1983, on our
six-acre lot and the main building was
completed in six weeks. The organizing
service was held on October 30, 1983, with 78
members. On March 11, 1984, a service of
Consecration was held with Bishop Frank L.
Robertson presiding. In February 1987, a
second building was completed.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located at
9062 Howell's Ferry Road, almost directly in
front of the Ponderosa subdivision. We look
forward to the future with anticipation for
what God is going to do, while praising Him
for that which He has already done. We
invite you to join us as part of the family of
God.
